Apple hauled in almost $27 billion in revenue and turned $6 billion in profit last quarter. The company sold over 4 million Macs, over 16 million iPhones, over 19 million iPods, and over 7 million iPads. That’s a spicy meatball.

It’s set to reveal official details about what’s believed to be an integrated series of products based on Palm’s webOS interface. Engadget may have gotten its hands on some early details pertaining to the tablet portion of the upcoming equation.
Starbucks launches mobile payment network

What was once a pilot program in New York, Seattle and Silicon Valley has now rolled out to every Starbucks in the country. The coffee chain’s BlackBerry and iPhone apps allow you to pay for your coffee with your phone, with an Android app coming soon.
