Four years after their last release, In Rainbows, Radiohead is planning to release their new album, KIng of Limbs, online this weekend – but if you were hoping for a repeat of their “Pay What You Want” plan, you’ll be sadly disappointed. This time around, the band is offering a variation of formats for download, each with its own price.

Fans will be able to choose between downloads in mp3 format ($9), uncompressed WAV format ($14), two vinyl records + CD + mp3 + artwork ($48) or two vinyl records + CD + WAV + artwork ($53), with the latter two options being called “Newspaper Albums,” either in reference to the “old media” format or the size of the artwork included in the package (“Many large sheets” of artwork are promised, along with 625 “tiny pieces”).

The album is already available for pre-order here, and available for download on Saturday.
