Another day, another iPhone 5 rumor: according to Reuters, the iPhone 5 will ship in September.
Surprising a total of zero people, the new phone is said to have a “faster processor” (hands up who thought Apple might be dropping to a slower one?), three anonymous sources told Reuters staff.
Production starts in July and completed units will be shipping for early fall – and of course, in good time for Christmas.
As always, you are encouraged to take any reports of new Apple products that don’t come directly from Apple itself with a very large container of salt.
But even so, you might want to start saving up now. If you put aside $100 a month from now until then, you’ll probably have just enough to grab one on launch day – assuming you can face standing in line.
