Do you incessantly “Like” things? I capitalized that word and put it in quotes, denoting the corresponding Facebook feature. Do you require a cell phone as you move about your day from one physical location to the next?
If you answered yes to both of those questions, there’s a phone with a built-in “Like” button that’ll be available for purchase starting this weekend. We’ve written about it before, if you recall. It’s called the HTC Status.

Best Buy will be selling the phone starting July 17 for $50 with a two-year AT&T contract. It’s an Android 2.3 handset with a 2.6-inch touchscreen (that’s pretty small) and an 800MHz processor (that’s sorta slow), hence the $50 price point.
Unless you’re hell-bent on the one-button sharing feature, I might wait for this to go on sale for free with a contract or spend an extra $50 with AT&T and get the Motorola Atrix, or the HTC Inspire—two Android phones with a bit more oomph. If you’re looking for something cute and pocketable like the Status, the HP Veer isn’t a bad option either. Or, hell, just go with the Status.
