Can’t wait to get your hands on Motorola’s new Droid RAZR, the phone that’s so cool it doesn’t need lowercase letters or the proper amount of vowels? Then head over to Verizon’s website, as pre-ordering for the phone kicked off at 8am sharp today.
The Droid RAZR will sell for $299—if you happen to sign up for a two-year contract with Verizon. Those who don’t want to ink a contract will have to pony up $649.99. Pre-order now and you could be chucking your Kevlar- and Gorilla Glass-equipped phone at relatives by Thanksgiving, seeing as all pre-orders will ship no later than November 10th.

In case you missed the hands-on preview of the RAZR, here’s the gist: it’s a 0.28-inch thin Android smartphone with a 4.3″ display and 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Yes, it’s a Gingerbread phone, but it should hopefully get the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade by the end of the year. It’ll also work with two new LapDocks, essentially turning the phone into a little laptop that you can browse the web with using Firefox.
More of an analog kind of guy or gal? You can always pre-order your RAZR the old-fashioned way by walking into a Verizon store and talking to a real-life human being.
