At European Robotics Week, currently being held in Brussels, the EU-funded Robocast demonstrated that it’s closer than ever to making robotic neurosurgery a reality. Ultimately, the goal is to make “treatment quicker, less invasive, and more effective,” especially when it comes to treating tumors, hydrocephalus, Parkinson’s disease, Tourette syndrome and many more neurological diseases.
