With more people watching online video in the U.S., we can be reassured that advertisers have done their best to stay on top of what is clearly a growing market for their business. According to comScore’s November 2011 U.S. Online Video Rankings, 15% of all videos viewed online last month were advertisements, underscoring a recent study that demonstrated that online video ad growth is actually surpassing online video viewing growth overall. An estimated 7.2 billion video ads were watched during November, with more than 1.3 of those coming from Hulu alone. Think about that the next time you’re getting frustrated with the Crest ads delaying the next part of your Modern Family stream.
