CES 2012 may be remembered as “the one where tablets and smartphones (finally) got gamepads.” Like the SteelSeries Ion Wireless gamepad — a pocket-sized Bluetooth controller with dual analog sticks, a d-pad and four face buttons. The company says it’s about the size of a deck of playing cards, lets you remap buttons via software and employs a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that’ll give you up to 20 hours of play time. When?
