The Dark Knight: App Edition — a tie-in to the second Nolan film — won’t let you do much in free mode, serving up mostly preview features, e.g. stream the first five minutes of the film, sample a few extras. But if you’re a true The Dark Knight movie wonk, the $9.99 Warner Bros. charges to unlock the full version of this iOS app is probably trifling. For that outlay, you get the entire movie (streaming or fully downloadable), behind the scenes features, an art gallery, ringtones, video trivia, and more.
