Sorry, purists, this $29.99 product isn’t a tablet keyboard. But I know some keyboard-loving iPad owners who swear by it. It’s a case that holds both an iPad and Apple’s own Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for convenient travel–and then folds out and props up the iPad, so you can use it in mini-laptop orientation, much as you do with the ZAGGfolio and similar keyboard cases. The big advantage is that Apple’s keyboard is wider and bigger than the ones built into cases, an important point for some fussy touch typists.
Trivia: The Apple Store, which tends to shy away from third-party accessories which suggest that Apple products aren’t perfect as is, doesn’t offer any of the other iPad keyboards in this roundup. But it does sell the Origami.
