Texture modder Miss Obsidienne wanted to liven up Skyrim‘s default NPC clothing sets with some fancy Photoshop finger work. The result: dozens of retextured outfits that complicate basic weave patterns in lovely ways or tease out a design’s filigree by brightening select colors. In the modder’s words: “Personally, I assumed that Skyrim as part of an entire Imperium might have access to different fabrics and handcrafts, not just homemade cloth. But does a girl really need a logical reason to pretty up textiles?”
