Giant-screened smartphones have been calling, and HTC has just answered with the Droid DNA ($200 with a two-year Verizon contract). The 5-inch display boasts an industry-leading 1080p (1920×1080!) resolution, which results in one of the most eye-pleasing pixel densities of any smartphone on the market right now. Images, text and videos all look phenomenal, but make sure you’ve got mitt-sized paws as well. HTC’s done a good job of making sure the phone doesn’t look too comically large, but it’s still quite a handful. That said, the gorgeous screen, fast 4G LTE connection, quad-core processor and the latest version of Android make this one of the more intelligent smartphones out there.
