Why it’s a good widget: As Google Now gains more features, you might want a way to keep an eye on it without relying on notifications or jumping into the Google Search app itself. The widget will bring all that information to the surface as long as you can spare the screen real estate. Keep in mind that you need Android 4.1 or higher to run Google Now; the Google Search app will tell you if it’s available on your phone.
