Child-friendly watches that allow parents to keep a closer eye on their children may be the next big tech hit following an announcement from AT&T this week. The telecommunications outlet signed an exclusive deal with Filip to serve as the U.S. network provider for the wrist device.
The watches sync up with smartphones allowing guardians to both locate and call their children through an app. Safe zones can be set, with alerts being sent to guardians if a child strays from certain locations. Children wearing the watches can contact their parents directly with the touch of a button, while also keeping track of the time.
