The One Max is the latest in the line of nicely-built Android handsets from HTC. The 4.7-inch HTC One was introduced in February, the 4.3-inch HTC One Mini came along in June, and now we have the 5.9-inch HTC One Max.
Aside from the big screen, the One Max will sport a microSD card slot to expand the phone’s storage — a feature missing from the other two models. As rumored, it’ll also pack a fingerprint sensor like Apple’s recently-released iPhone 5s, though the One Max’s fingerprint sensor is located on the back of the device whereas Apple’s is embedded into the home button on the front of the phone.
Aside from that, PCWorld reports that the One Max “is essentially a larger version of HTC’s critically acclaimed One flagship phone, with otherwise similar specs.” The phone will be available worldwide later this month in 16- and 32-gigabyte variants, with U.S. versions from Sprint and Verizon later this year; pricing information hasn’t yet been released.
