Google Glass is about more than what meets the wearer’s eye.
The tech giant is unveiling a slew of features Tuesday that will make the wearable device more music friendly, the New York Times reports. Beta-testers, also known as “Explorers,” will be able to search, stream, and get suggestions for music via Google Play, a Shazam-like song identification app. Next month, they can buy $85 earbuds.
“With these new features, we’re now building a great music experience on Glass, whether you’re a classical music professor, an acclaimed sound engineer and hip-hop producer, or someone who wants to listen to their favorite tunes anytime, anywhere,” Google Glass director of marketing Ed Sanders told the Times.
