Apple’s Cylindrical Mac Pro Desktop Will Be Available Tomorrow

The long wait is finally over. After about three years without a major overhaul, Apple’s latest Mac Pro desktop is about to go on sale.

Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to order the 9.9-inch-tall cylindrical aluminum whatsit from Apple’s site and retail stores. Pricing starts at $3,000 for the quad-core version and $4,000 for the six-core version. Fun fact: My first car – a 1990 Mitsubishi Mirage – cost $4,000. I called it The Dart, but it wasn’t that fast. Had it been a computer, it would have had maybe one core.
