Sometime in the not-too-distant future, Google is likely to add Google Now — its cool card-based system for telling you stuff you need to know before you’ve asked for it, already available for iOS and Android — to the desktop version of its Chrome browser. In fact, it’s already done so — but only in Canary, an experimental version of the browser, and only if you know how to turn it on. Over at Gigaom, Kevin C.
