What 2014 Might Look Like for Google

1 minute read

Ars Technica’s Ron Amadeo has a thoroughly thorough roundup of the things that Google is either known to be working on or believed to be working on this year. It’s thorough, if I haven’t mentioned that already.

The mainstays you’d expect are there — Android, Chrome, Google Glass, self-driving cars – and Amadeo posits that we might see a big push into gaming as well.

Add to that the ongoing initiative to get more of the world online through a combination of infrastructure buildouts, cheap smartphones, and those Internet-access weather balloons. We’ll also likely see a bigger push into health, with things like Google’s diabetic contact lenses and its death-defying Calico project.
