Here’s what else is going on in nerd news around the web:
HAHA: Heroes has been canceled. (Cue: Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead) I’m a bit sad that I won’t be able to roll out our brilliant Heroes Suckwatch column idea, but at least one deserving show got the ax this year (though some rumors point toward NBC allowing Heroes to do a special to wrap up the series). Suckwatch, perhaps you have life after all! NBC will present its fall lineup to advertisers next week.

More to Marvel at: During an interview, Iron Man 2 star Samuel L. Jackson noted that a S.H.I.E.L.D. movie will follow the upcoming Avengers film. Of course, as Nick Fury, Jackson would take a central role, furthering the Marvel Studios umbrella through a new set of superhero films. The silver lining: More S.H.I.E.L.D. means more Scarlett.
