NERF’s Blast-a-Ball system was about as advanced as I got when it came to foam-based childhood gun fights. This $50 NERF Longstrike Sniper Rifle would have rendered my shotgun-like Blast-a-Ball shooter utterly useless.
The three-foot Longstrike is capable of picking off targets from up to 35 feet away and can be broken down into two pieces for easy transport. Oh, and it’s got a flip-up sight, quick-reload clip, and six darts.
Of course it does. My Blast-a-Ball had two balls and close to zero accuracy. It sure sounded cool, though.
