Move over, AT&T: Verizon is widely expected to announce a partnership with Apple during an event in New York today that will make Apple’s iPhone available for the first time on Verizon’s network. The long-rumored courtship is said to have come to fruition late last year, spurred onward by increasing competition from Google’s fleet of Android-powered phones.
