I’d actually like to see this. So would Harry, I’m sure.
Lenovo seems dead serious on bringing a 23-inch tablet to market this year. It’d apparently be portable in the sense that you’d move it around the house with you but beyond that, it’d only serve to fetch you weird looks on the bus if you actually left the house with it.
A Lenovo rep “expressed his belief that a tablet that could be moved from room to room and used on tables as well as docked as an All-in-One could be an elegant answer,” according to TechRadar.
Such a tablet would basically be an extension of Lenovo’s existing line of all-in-one computers, several of which are available with 23-inch touchscreens. The rep said, “We’d have to take care of battery life and we are working to get the weight down.” See that? We are working. Not thinking about working or trying to get a focus group together.
The rep told TechRadar:
“It’s obviously not for full mobility use, but it could be moved from room to room in the house and used with a full keyboard, or as a television.Or you could lay it on a table top and use it for family games.
We’re hoping that we can launch it later this year.”
This thing may actually happen. Would you A) buy one and B) how much would you expect to pay for such a specimen?
