In light of that recent incident involving a TSA employee assaulting his boss after a full body scan revealed his “small size,” I’ve heard a lot of people ask how these machines really work their X-ray spec magic. I think this Odd Todd video does a pretty good job at explaining the basic tech behind a pretty invasive security measure.
Everything about this is glorious – and I’m not even a D&D fan.
