New Bioshock 2 Trailer

It’s above.

Everything’s bigger, faster, louder — in other words very sequel-y. But it’s still about moral choices, people. You’re not actually supposed to enjoy incinerating splicers with your awesome plasmids!

The bits where you’re actually underwater — either you’re outside, or Rapture is flooded — look amazing. The trailer is focused intensively on combat, rather than on the dreamy atmospheric stuff of the teaser:

And while watching those I stumbled on this, which makes the plot/setting a lot clearer. Yeah, it’s old, but it was new to me.

Meanwhile it looks like the Ares rocket launch might actually happen this morning, in spite of the weather. NASA’s first new rocket in 30 years.

Except a cargo ship just wandered into the security zone. Great.
