First, read this, in which I try to explain what wizard rock is. Second, read this: Jingle Spells is Leaky’s annual holiday-themed wizard rock compilation, the profits from which go to charity. I spent this past weekend listening to it, and it’s got some pretty good stuff.

– “Light the Castle Up,” by The Remus Lupins. An obligatory hannukah-themed jam by one of my favorite wrock bands. Hagrid is half-Jewish, apparently.
– “My Wish List,” by MC Kreacher. OK, this track is by MC Kreacher. I think that’s all the annotation it needs.
