Harry Potter Watch Out: The Wii Has A Wand+ Now

Nyko Technologies’ Wand+ for the Wii looks suspiciously like the Nintendo Wii Remote, but the company behind it says it can do much more. They proclaim that it features Full Motion Technology support, Trans-Port Technology (which supposedly means it can pass sound and vibration signals to other Nintendo Wii related products) and Bluetooth communication.

So, basically, it’s your average controller with the MotionPlus addition built in. It’s only $40 — the same price as a standard Wii Remote — so you save $20 on not having to get the extra accessory. We’re not saying you should rush out and exchanging what you already have, but if you need an extra controller, consider this option.
