A Brief History of “Strange Tales”

This Wednesday sees the release of Strange Tales II #1–the first of a three-issue miniseries in which various artists from the indie-comics world take on Marvel characters, a sequel to a similar miniseries published last year. Despite the Roman numeral in the new mini’s title, though, Strange Tales has intermittently been around for nearly 60 years, in one form or another, and this is the sixth or seventh project Marvel has published with that title. Here’s a quick rundown on the past of Strange Tales.
