Big Brother. Apparently the FBI would like to start cataloging which sites people visits in order to investigate “serious crimes.” But where does it stop?
Oh. Shit. Yesterday, word broke that an intern at TechCrunch had to be let go because he was accepting merchandise in exchange for favorable blog posts. Oh man. (This is really against the code of honor, folks.) TechCrunch issued an apology to its readers, but to further the situation, the terminated intern took to his own blog to talk more about the incident.
Ding dong. Gizmodo is calling Amazon’s $9.99 e-book a dead duck. Publishers Hachette, MacMillan and HarperCollins have all dropped the $9.99 price in lieu of higher profits.
