If you played sports-themed computer games in the ’80s, you found yourself in front of several Epyx titles. There were the Olympics-style Summer Games and Winter Games, along with the weird-but-fun World Games (caber toss, anyone?). The true masterpiece was California Games, though, with a handful of actual sports (half pipe, surfing, BMX racing) mixed in with gems like hacky sack, flying disc, and boardwalk roller skating.
