Cr-48 Chrome Notebook
Google’s put up an official page for its Chrome OS pilot program notebook, the Cr-48. Consumer notebooks will be available by the middle of next year, but this is the one that early adopters will be playing with for a while.

Every Website Can Now Be a Bookstore
Amazon has rolled out “Kindle for the Web,” a service that lets just about anyone with a web browser read sample chapters of electronic books and, if so inclined, buy and read the full versions. Website owners can embed the books on their sites as well to earn referral fees.
