Another Google Easter Egg: Search “Tilt” on Smartphones

Can’t get enough of Google’s search pranks? Grab a smartphone and search for “tilt” or “askew” on Google’s mobile website.

Doing so knocks the search results off kilter, as you can see in the image above. If you’re without a smartphone, you can check out the gag on the mobile-formatted version of Google’s desktop site.

Google already messed with us last week on April Fool’s Day. Searching for “helvetica” returned all search results in comic sans. Searching for “comic sans” had the same effect. Those searches are back to normal now, but I guess Google wanted to get smartphone users in on the fun, albeit a bit late.

I’ve already made the mistake of staring at the image for too long. Now everything on my computer monitor looks tilted as well.
