The cheapest MacBook Air model generally starts at $999 but MacMall has discounted several closeout models, with prices starting at $835 for the 11.6-inch version. These models come preloaded with Mac OS X Snow Leopard, but you’ll be eligible for a free upgrade to the latest version, Lion.
There are three 11.6-inch models running from $835 to $1,000, and two 13.3-inch versions running from $1,290 to $1,300.

Call of Duty: Black Ops for Xbox 360/PS3: $35 at Amazon (today only)
Late-2010’s stealth first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Black Ops, gets a $10 price cut at Amazon today. What incredible timing! Did they know Battlefield 3 came out today, too?
The two franchises compete against one another, but the newest Call of Duty game won’t be out until November 8th.

Pre-owned Archos 7-inch tablet: $100 at CowBoom (today only)
If you’re looking to see what all the 7-inch tablet hubbub is (or isn’t) about, CowBoom.com has a one-day deal on an 8GB Archos tablet. Caveats: It’s preowned, it doesn’t have the kind of ultra-responsive touchscreen you’d find on newer tablets, and there’s no access to the Android Market (though you can download apps from elsewhere).
