I didn’t play A Game of Thrones: Genesis, developer Cyanide’s real-time strategy take on George R.R. Martin’s fantasy series, but I hear it didn’t go over well with RTS traditionalists, who found its slow pace and diplomatic focus tedious (everyone wants StarCraft II, what are you going to do?). I have higher hopes for A Game of Thrones, also from Cyanide–a straight-up roleplaying game in which you control a member of the Night’s Watch and a Red Priest during events set midway through the first book. Please guys, you’re sitting on a huge license–don’t screw this one up.
For: PC, PS3, Xbox 360
