What’s Noteworthy: It’s yet another tablet with an optional keyboard dock, but one with a built-in stylus holder, a fingerprint reader and a full-sized USB port on the tablet itself, plus support for AT&T’s LTE network. Instead of a trackpad, the optional keyboard dock has a cursor nub and two mouse buttons on the bottom edge. There’s also an optional charging dock with three USB ports, HDMI out and an Ethernet jack.
Tech Specs: 10.1-inch (1366-by-768 resolution) display, Intel Atom processor, 2 GB RAM, 10-hour battery, USB, micro-HDMI, NFC, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, weighs 1.3 pounds and measures 0.38 inches thick.
Price and Availability: $649 for the tablet alone, or $800 with the keyboard dock according to WPCentral. The stylus is optional, but no word on price. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is coming in November through Lenovo’s website.
