One of the highest-profile — and wealthiest — couples in Silicon Valley is on the outs.

Google co-founder Sergey Brin is living apart from his wife of six years, 23andMe co-founder Anne Wojcicki, a spokesman confirmed to tech blog A spokesman for the family said “they remain good friends and partners.”

The entrepreneurial couple, who have two children, together donated $223 million to charity in 2012, the fifth-most among donors in the U.S., according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy.

Brin, who now heads up Google’s “moonshot” projects like driver-less cars,  is worth $22.8 billion, according to Forbes. Wojcicki’s personal genetics startup 23andMe, which sells DNA test kits, has raised more than $100 million — including from Google and Brin, according to The breakup is unlikely to have a material impact on Brin’s finances because the couple reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement.

And according to Gawker’s ValleyWag blog, Brin already has a new woman on his arm: a fellow Googler. The website reports he’s dating Amanda Rosenberg, the Google Glass marketing manager — which may help justify Brin’s attachment to Google Glass over the past months.
