This week sees the release of Stan Lee’s Starborn #1 from Boom! Studios. On Sunday, 87-year-old Lee and his wife Joanie celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary; Lee’s birthday is later this month. The legendary comics writer is keeping pretty busy, as octogenarians go. Here, as far as we can tell, are the projects he’s currently involved with:

*Acting in some kind of supervisory capacity for three monthly series from Boom!: Starborn, The Traveler and Soldier Zero, all of which bear his signature on their cover

*Making appearances on episodes of Entourage and Eureka

*Preparing to get his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

*Working on the Stan Lee Comics line in collaboration with Archie Comics and A Squared Entertainment; supposedly this will also include “three new superhero franchises” (a few months ago, we previewed one of the characters from 7, apparently the current title of what was once announced as Super Seven)

*Developing a Las Vegas casino show, “The Yin and Yang Battle of Tao”

*Attaching at least his name to over a dozen films in development listed on his POW! Entertainment site

*Creating a 30-character, hockey-inspired superhero team called The Guardian Project, “with a creative concept that organically and authentically incorporates various NHL elements but is not set in the world of hockey.” They will be unveiled during the NHL All-Star Game at the end of January

*Writing the daily Spider-Man newspaper comic strip

*Maintaining a frequently updated Twitter account, which currently has over 100,000 followers

*Hosting Stan Lee’s Superhumans, a History channel series about people with (at least mildly) extranormal abilities. We’re beginning to suspect he’s one of those, too.
