Obama Holds Town Hall Meeting at Facebook Headquarters

President Obama participated in a town hall meeting at Facebook headquarters yesterday. The event was streamed live online, with Obama taking questions from the live crowd and from Facebook users via the site.

The president outlined his plans to reduce debt, saying that government spending needed to be cut—and saying to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, “People like me and, frankly, you, Mark, paying a little more in taxes.” Zuckerberg’s response: “I’m cool with that.”

Obama also fielded questions on challenges facing the residential real estate market, job creation, immigration issues, innovation, health care and more.
