No Android phone remains at the top of the heap for long, and with the Galaxy Nexus about to hit the market, the Droid Bionic won’t be in the spotlight much longer. It’ll stay on the short list of worthy Android handsets, though. Its high-resolution 4.3″ display is pleasing, its 8-megapixel camera is better than many, and Motorola promises an upgrade from Android 3.2 Gingerbread to 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Most important, the Bionic sports the single most appealing feature that you don’t get on the iPhone: Support for Verizon Wireless’s hyper-fast 4G LTE network.
