Why It’s Noteworthy: Although glasses-free 3D hasn’t become a big trend for smartphones, LG’s giving it another shot with the Optimus 3D Max, its second 3D smartphone. This time, LG’s including a 2D to 3D converter for games and apps, and a range finder for better distance calculation in 3D photos.
Availability: No word on a U.S. launch, but it hits Korea in March, with a gradual roll out in Europe to follow.
