Why It’s Noteworthy: LG hasn’t been a huge player in the smartphone market, but it’s doing its best with the gimmick-free Optimus 4X HD. The one thing that might help it stand apart is its generous 2,140 mAh battery, though LG hasn’t given any battery life estimates yet.
Availability: Slashgear says the phone will arrive in the United Kingdom this June for roughly $600, before carrier subsidies. No word on a U.S. launch.
