If you missed the original Infinity Blade, this is basically Epic Games’ (Unreal, Gears of War) way of showing off what it can do visually on the iPad wrapped around a straightforward dodge/attack roleplaying game. As you travel along a scripted path, you’ll run into all sorts of exotic enemy creatures, then slash with your fingers to time your attacks or dodge their blows.
