While Nintendo’s biggest upcoming games don’t do much to showcase the GamePad, Game & Wario serves as a clever example of what’s possible with the second screen. In one mode, you control a kid as he tries to sneak in some handheld gaming after bedtime. While playing games on the GamePad’s small screen, you must constantly keep an eye on the TV, and press both triggers to hide before your mother comes in to check on you. Much like last year’s ZombiU, this is a prime example of how the Wii U can expand the gaming space beyond the television. It’s a shame we didn’t see more of this in Nintendo’s future lineup.
