Catherine Conners was not there for the loss of her daughter’s first tooth. She stopped breastfeeding because she was tired of it. And her 4-year-old son wandered off school grounds on his first day of pre-K. But despite the title of her blog, Conners is not a bad mother.
As a working mom devoted to her husband and children, she chronicles the ups and downs of balancing it all with humor and poignancy. She is not afraid to speak out against mothers who believe that their way is the best way to raise kids. And she documents her children’s lives with gorgeous, colorful photography. If this is what being bad really means, then moms should never try to be good.
