Huawei’s crown jewel at CES was the Ascend D2, a smartphone with all the trimmings. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, a 13-megapixel camera and a whopping 3,000 mAh battery, which Huawei says is good for six days of standby time. The phone also sports some design flourishes, with a metal frame–a rarity among Android phones–and water resistance.
Just one problem: There’s no 4G LTE support on board, so odds are the Ascend D2 will never land in the United States. It’s due to launch in China this month.
