Compared to Google’s Nexus 7, the Polaroid M7 tablet isn’t a huge step down. It has a 7-inch, 1280-by-800 resolution display, a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of storage, a microSD slot and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. But despite the similar specs, it has a much lower price of $129.
Polaroid will also sell a 10.1-inch tablet, dubbed the M10, with double the storage and a quad-core processor for $229. Both tablets run Android 4.1, and should be out this spring.
