EA’s b-baller may lack NBA 2K14‘s visual shock and awe (at least in the trailers), but it’s a notable return to form from the sports gaming magnate after a four-year NBA Live game hiatus. EA’s touting a new physics-guided dribble engine (for better ball control) this time, as well as something it calls CourtQ that syncs up with actual NBA games, “driven by over 70 player ratings, tendencies, and team stats updated after every single NBA game.”
