Who could have seen this one coming? FLO TV was a cellphone-sized device that cost $250 up front, plus $15 per month for access to a handful of live TV stations. Approximately 12 people bought it – maybe because of this ad.
Fate: FLO TV was eventually offered as a service through wireless providers before being shut down completely in early 2011.
