Not again, right? Konami’s in a Metal Gear mood with two major sequels in the offing, thus it’s hoping you’ll be, too, taking the opportunity to offer the most up-to-date versions of all of series creator Hideo Kojima’s games in a single $50 package that includes: Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions (downloadable via voucher codes), Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (trophy version) and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Plus: digital copies of the Metal Gear Solid graphic novels by Kris Oprisko (writer) and Ashley Wood (artist), and a 100-page booklet related to the games.
If you already own that stuff, nothing to see here, etc., but if you don’t, or haven’t played the high-definition updates, this is the motherlode (you know, until they get around to somehow folding in Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Metal Gear Acid 1 and 2, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Metal Gear Solid Mobile, Metal Gear Solid Touch and Metal Gear Solid Social Ops — Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance gets a pass because it just came out).
