Comics on Our Pull List 10/13/10

This is a big week, no question about it. Superior finally drops. Shadlowland and Thor continue for Marvel. Knight and Squire debuts as well as a ton of books surrounding the Return of Bruce Wayne on the DC side. I’ll have my work cut out for me Wednesday that’s for sure. Stay tuned for the Panel of the Week and the Comic Book Club later …

New Comics for 10/13/10

The New York Comic Con is over. It’s finally over! I believe I burned hundreds of thousands of calories over the 20+ hours I spent neck deep in our ‘culture’. I’m a broken, beaten, reader of comics and the hits keep on coming. What a week! I don’t know how I’m going to pick just five for tomorrow’s pull list post.

Panel of the Week 10/6/10

Every week I go to my Local Comic Shop (Midtown 4 Life!) and I buy too many comics. Ok, let’s get back into it. Let’s talk about some new comics. Wednesday looms after all. Panel of the Week 9/29/10

And we’re back! Didn’t go anywhere. Just wanted to say it. It’s time for Panel of the Week once again. As I sit here trying to break in my new Rainbow sandals that I didn’t even know came in size ‘effing huge’ to fit my Ronald McDonalds I’m trying pick out those moments in this week’s comics that have got that special something. I don’t …

When you head to you local comic shop this week here are some titles that you should consider. A couple of them kick off final story lines, some are relaunches of very old titles, others are just good comics in a line of good comics. Something to consider. Come back on Thursday for the Panel of the Week and the Comic Book …

New Comics for 9/26/10

Look, we can’t knock them all out of the park. There are going to be weeks like this. Weeks where you take that third trip down the racks and wonder, almost aloud, is this all there is? Is this all the reality escaping fuel I can roll around in? Well, maybe it’s time to branch out. Switch brands. Get into that new genre. Live.
